Biography:

Alan Linkous concentrates his practice in public finance, economic development incentives, and local government law. His practice is primarily focused in the roles of bond counsel or underwriter’s counsel in public finance transactions. His experience regularly includes financings of governmental administrative facilities, water & sewer utilities, natural gas utilities, solid waste disposal facilities, multi-family housing projects, educational facilities, health care facilities, industrial development projects, and transporatation and parking facilities.

As bond counsel, Mr. Linkous typically represents cities, counties, authorities, special purpose governmental entities, or Native American tribes. As underwriter’s counsel or placement agent’s counsel, he represents regional or national investment banking firms or banks.

In addition to his experience with municipal bonds and economic development incentives transactions, Mr Linkous' extensive background in corporate transactions, including the areas of commercial finance, real estate law, and insolvency, further enhances his expertise in his primary practice areas.
